Cast Iron Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 Cast Iron Pizza Dough
  • 1 lb sausage, browned and drained
  • 1 can tomato sauce 8 oz.
  • 1 small onion, sauted with sausage
  • 1 bell pepper or several mini sweet peppers, cut and sauted with sausage and onion
  • 1 tbsp italian seasoning sprinkle over top of meat and veggies
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Make pizza dough and let rise while preparing toppings.
  • Saute onion, peppers and sausage. Drain.
  • Spread dough into slightly greased cast iron skillet (can use any size - larger the skillet, thinner the dough.)
  • Pour tomato sauce evenly over dough and spread meat and veggies over.
  • Top with italian seasoning and cheese.
  • Bake at 425 until browned and bubbly.
