Roll out each biscuit and fill with finely chopped apples. Pinch edges together to seal.
Place biscuits seam side down in buttered baking dish.
Combine sugar, spice, water and butter in saucepan and bring to a boil.
Pour liquid over biscuits, sprinkle tops of biscuits with sugar and pat of butter if you like.
Bake at 350 until brown and bubbly. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
