According to the posts on this blog, I’ve been missing…or had nothing going on worth sharing…or stuck in mud or under a really big rock. The latter is closest to the truth (and was true for the 36 months of winter we had), but not altogether true. The farm has actually been going strong since last fall and I’ve actually been writing – just not here. Which kind of makes me sad, and which is why I’m going to try my best to start sharing here again.
Sometimes it’s easy to leave home and then for any number of reasons, hard to return.
I consider this little space on the interwebs like a home and I’m ready to open the doors again to anyone willing to sit, listen, laugh and maybe even learn a few things along with me. If you want to catch up with what I’ve been learning and sharing elsewhere, here’s a start: my take on making resolutions (ie. I don’t); how the winter was won with snow cream (and I could really go for a bowl now that it’s 90 and 1000% humidity); learning to live and cope in the in-betweens of life; getting out of our comfort zones (because we never grow until we do); finding the extra in our ordinary (trust me, it’s always there); and dealing with the changing seasons in life and farming. I’m going to keep this short and sweet (well, sweet might be a stretch). And I’m going to be back soon…maybe even tomorrow. Maybe.
