Sometimes It’s Ok To Be In The Middle

  1. Dottie Pyrtle says:

My name is Dottie (Momaw) Pyrtle.  I am proud to be a FarmHer.  Marji Guyler-Alaniz is my hero.  Now, you are also my hero.  When I read the oxymoronic bio above, and your other comments, I thought you were writing about me!  I am the middle sibling.  I wish I had taken more piano lessons.  Will never mind manure on my boots or the smell of horses (even their manure) and can’t have pretty nails unless I glue them on.  I can make biscuits like my mom but seldom do any more. I want to be outside every day.  Enough about me.  I enjoyed your article and look forward to meeting you someday.  I live in Kernersville NC.  Marji says our FarmHer episode will air sometime in April.  I am FarmHer!

    • Meredith says:

I am SO glad you clicked over here and read AND commented, Dottie! We are definitely going to meet up soon – we have to! YOU are my hero! I can’t wait to see your episode and learn more of your story. Look forward to following along on social media until we can share some time over food or farm (or both!) together. xoxo
