I know…this one isn’t beef or butter or made in a skillet, but it sure goes good with beef bbq (or most any other meal!) Simple, homemade slaw (aka coleslaw, but I prefer the short version.) And since I was making it, I thought I’d share. (Except there’s none left to share- I ate all that was left right out of the bowl for dessert. You can judge me.) Watch below to see how I make it.
Chop ½ head of cabbage (or more…or less) – add chopped carrots if you wish Add 3 Tbsp Sugar (or more…or less) and mix with slaw, let sit 10 min. or more if you have time – it’s fine to make all at once if you don’t
Add mayonnaise to desire – start with smaller amount, mix and add more as needed
Dash (or ten) of salt, pepper and celery seeds
Mix well, taste and try not to eat all of it before you serve
